Network Support Engineer

Summary:
We are looking for a Network Support Engineer to maintain and support our organization's network infrastructure. This role will involve troubleshooting network issues, implementing security measures, and ensuring network performance meets the required standards.

Job Responsibility:
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely support to ensure minimal downtime.
- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Monitor network performance and optimize network infrastructure for efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new network technologies.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Support Engineer or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP would be a plus.

Requirements:

1. Certification: CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) / CCNA
2. Experience: Hands-on experience in network support or IT-related roles, including
• Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine)
• Cisco UCS (Unified Computing System)
• Cisco FTD (Firepower Threat Defense)
• Cisco CUCM (Cisco Unified Communications Manager)
• FortiGate Next Generation Firewall by Fortinet
3. Skills: Fluent English (Arabic a plus); good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
4. Other: Valid Qatar driving license and access to a personal vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist with scheduled and preventive network maintenance.
2. Troubleshoot and help resolve network-related incidents.
3. Communicate with stakeholders for updates and reporting.
4. Maintain accurate records of work, incidents, and solutions.
