Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on IT Manager to lead and manage the company’s overall IT infrastructure, systems, information security, networks, servers, ERP applications and technology assets.
The ideal candidate should combine strong technical expertise with IT management capabilities and be able to ensure that all IT systems are secure, reliable, properly maintained and aligned with the company’s operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Operations
- Manage the company’s overall IT infrastructure across offices and business operations.
- Ensure the availability, reliability and performance of IT systems, networks, servers and business applications.
- Plan and implement IT infrastructure upgrades, system improvements and technology projects.
- Manage IT assets, hardware, software, licenses and technology inventory.
Information & Cyber Security
- Develop and implement information security policies, procedures and controls.
- Manage user access, permissions, authentication and security protocols.
- Monitor IT systems and networks for security risks, vulnerabilities and unauthorized access.
- Ensure appropriate antivirus, firewall, endpoint protection and other cybersecurity measures are maintained.
- Conduct periodic security reviews and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and good IT practices across the organization.
Network & Server Administration
- Manage LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, switches, routers and other network infrastructure.
- Administer physical and/or virtual servers and ensure their availability and performance.
- Manage Active Directory, user accounts, access rights and Group Policies where applicable.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity and infrastructure issues.
- Ensure proper server maintenance, patching, updates and security configuration.
ERP & Business Systems
- Manage and support the company’s ERP and other business applications.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors regarding ERP requirements, enhancements and technical issues.
- Manage system users, permissions and access levels.
- Support system integration, upgrades, implementation and process automation initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through technology and digital solutions.
Data Management, Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Establish and maintain effective data backup and recovery procedures.
- Ensure critical company data is securely backed up and regularly tested for recoverability.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity arrangements for critical IT systems.
- Ensure appropriate controls are in place for data storage, retention, accessibility and protection.
Microsoft 365 & Corporate Systems
- Administer Microsoft 365, corporate email, user accounts and related applications.
- Manage SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and other collaboration platforms where applicable.
- Maintain appropriate access controls, security settings and data-sharing permissions.
Hardware, Software & Technical Support
- Oversee installation, configuration and maintenance of computers, laptops, printers, servers and other IT equipment.
- Manage software installation, updates, licensing and compliance.
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and effective IT support for employees.
- Establish preventive maintenance and replacement plans for IT equipment.
IT Governance & Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, standards and documentation.
- Maintain proper documentation of IT infrastructure, systems, licenses, passwords/access controls and configurations.
- Manage relationships with IT suppliers, service providers and technology vendors.
- Evaluate quotations, service agreements and IT solutions to ensure technical suitability and cost effectiveness.
- Prepare and manage IT budgets and monitor technology-related expenditure.
- Provide regular reports to management on IT performance, risks, projects and improvement initiatives.
Skills Description
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of professional IT experience, with solid experience in IT management or a senior IT infrastructure role.

- Professional IT certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, ITIL, CISSP or equivalent will be considered an advantage.
